A collection of twelve short stories written by various authors to challenge traditional ideals of publication.

This is the first collection to be published by Phoenix Pages.  Phoenix Pages is a project of university creative writing students designed to provide a space for a more public distribution of original fiction.  The students are writing, organizing, editing, working on layout, and producing the collection themselves with limited faculty involvement.  Your help would be greatly appreciated and will inspire the students to continue publishing future collections with an eye towards full length works.

The risks and challenges are things the students are going to face as they continue writing their own work. With the limited faculty involvement, the students will be forced to find creative solutions to problems such as: collection of the works, editing, formatting and layout, legal concepts within copyright in a multiple author volume, and distribution of the collection.

These students have been working hard and are working in tandem with legal authorities. They have varied backgrounds among the pool of editors that gives them a unique way to work around problems based on personal experience, research, and the classes they're taking as part of their courses.
