@ $6,000.00 - The CD! We would be able to get in the studio and record some of the poems. I've been collaborating with some ridiculously talented musicians to take the poems to the next level. It would be a shame for the world not hear this spin on the spoken word.
@ $8,500 - Tour, tour, tour. The words go well beyond the page and one of my greatest joys is taking the words off the pages and bringing them to life through spoken word.

It certainly wouldn't be worth the effort without some risk and challenge, now would it? I truly believe this project is much bigger than just the book itself. It's my mission to connect with as many people as possible through my poetry in the hopes that my words will charge the personal growth meter in all of us.

• Not successfully receiving funding. I am doing this one way or another, but to do it in the most beautiful and purposeful way I need the help of many people. Funding helps me afford the team that I need to help me share these poems.
• Sharing such personal stories is always risky. It leaves me exposed and vulnerable. What if you don't like what you see? What if my mom doesn't like it? What if your mom doesn't like it? Art is best when there is some risk involved.
